Mobilizing Youth to Nix Tobacco (MYNT) is a Tobacco Reform Initiative Program in California’s Central Valley. They are a project of the Youth Leadership Institute and focus on tobacco reform in the African-American Community. Their larger mission is to ensureA that youth voices are heard loud and clear.
For the month of February, they have been highlighting figures in the black community and sharing stats about smoking among black youth. A recent post of theirs challenged their audience to think about what they would do about the increasing use of e-cigarettes in the young adult population.
