She obtained her PhD from UCLA, where she focused on tobacco-related disease disparities impacting the African American community. Her drive is powered by a commitment to health equity and cultural empowerment. Voices of Liberation is a growing collection of powerful African Americans who have broken free from nicotine or are on their way.
