Mission: 

Partner with communities to provide ongoing culturally competent tobacco cessation services to the Black community to decrease the demand for nicotine products and eliminate cessation disparities.


Vision Statement:

Empower African Americans and those of African descent to free themselves and their communities from nicotine dependence.


Guiding Principles:

1. Eliminate smoking cessation disparities.

2. Decrease the demand for nicotine products.

3. Develop and/or create culturally appropriate interventions and evidence-based smoking cessation curricula.

4. Train culturally competent tobacco Treatment Specialists.

5. Advocate for equitable funding for tobacco cessation services in communities of color.

6. Treat tobacco dependence as a chronic health condition.

7. Endorse holistic, culturally relevant smoking cessation treatment approaches.
